Journal, Diary, & Blogging / The strength of time (Analysis)
We all get on the bench of life, lift our arms up for hope, hoping that we can lift the burdens, and yet we continue to rep hardships, sorrows, and disappointments. Too much weight, and we have yet to figure out life isn’t ours to lift, and our strength doesn’t increase by our stubborn will of intentional lustful sufferings. You know, the trials that we get ourselves into. The trials that if we follow the word we wouldn’t get caught in. Yes, suffering makes us stronger, but we must lay aside those heavy weights and give them to God to bear. They are too heavy for us. Our strength lies in the ability to trust and have faith in Jesus Christ. Time reminds us over and over again, by giving us lessons that we fail repeatedly. Unless, we gain the wisdom to see that our total dependency lies upon Jesus. So, time along with our weight weighs us down. Because along with our weight time moves on, and its inevitability reminds us that we surely can’t stop it.We can’t bench press it, we can’t stop it, and we surely can’t make it succumb to our will. In our finite minds, we must come to the realization that time and our sufferings will come, must come, and will not cease to exist. We must ask ourselves the question, “What will we do to such forces?” The answer is, “Nothing.” We can do nothing to what we can’t control, but we can….
Learn from our hardships
Help others with their sorrows
Never set ourselves up for disappointments (don’t take our eyes off that people will be people and things will always happen)
Gain strength from our sufferings
and above all else
KNOW that time is given to every man, but it’s what you do with the time you are given that makes your life worthwhile
The strength of time strengthens us to become who we need to become. Time is a gift, and should be very precious in the eyes of the beholder. We must cherish this gift, embrace its strength, and use it to our best ability. Making our dreams come true with each passing day, so our lives won’t be in vain in the days of our passing. Making each moment count. Making each breath worth breathing. Making each step worth taking. Making our beliefs that much believable. So now that you are still on the bench mark of life, how much time will you give yourself to realize what you should be trying to lift?
**Lift your spirits & aspirations, and become strengthen with time.
Put your hands together for Christ,
Passionate
How will you use your time?

“don’t take our eyes off that people will be people and things will always happen” I don’t understand your meaning in the use of the word “eyes” in this line. Other than that, the piece is written very well and the meaning is easily understood.

Very good display of feelings in writing. I tend to think you need to revisit and re-read what you have here. It needs a bit of consolidation and sentence structure to be cohesive.
Whether one agrees with your opinion or not, this should reflect a genuiness of emotion but in a more irrefutable fashion. In other words, it almost feels as though you allow no other opinion with how you write this.
The writing itself is good – just focus on your points per paragraph and expand upon those. You’ll likely be more forceful and sincere.
Liked what I read.

Overall it’s quite inspirational, however I’m not a God-believer, so the parts about God/Jesus didn’t settle well with me. I’m not saying don’t do it, it’s always nice to creatively express your religion, it just feels slightly pushed to me.
The concept was great, though, and right to the point.
This was very close to home for me, and Im so glad I was given the chance to read it. this is something that should be shared world wide, as its something we all go through at some point in our life. well done. jayne sterne (author of Destroyed )
