For the longest days and the longest nights
For the sunsets and the sunrise
For the stars and for the moons
For the ground that we walk upon and for the open skies
We live in hope
That all that is done
Is GODS Will

For every man and every woman
For every child that lives
For every new life that enters this world
We walk in ignorance
That all that is done
Is GODS Will

For as long as there shall be leaders to rule our choices
For as long as there shall be more than one name for religion
For as long as there shall be more than one man with a cause
There will always be a war

For the thousands that have given the ultimate sacrifice
Another is ready to take their place
For at what price is freedom truly the cost
When that freedom is taken with ones life
For good or evil
Killing is known as a sin
At what part of their journey
Are they given time to repent
To ask for forgiveness
We pray in that all that is done
Is GODS Will

Who is right who is wrong?
Who makes that choice?
Who decides that their power is of the greater?
Who gives them the right to open their hands and shout…
’ I am the one!’
’ I shall protect my country at any price ’
’ I shall kill a thousand of my own men to have custody of your one’
‘For every man, woman or child you kill of mine after that, I shall order for two to your one’
War shall never end as long as it lives within us
Peace shall never be found for as long as one man has the strength left to raise his sword and charge
Instead of falling to his knees and searching within for the true meaning of power in all his honour
For all that shall be said and done
Shall it be done in GODS will
Of his unconditional love…

I really enjoyed reading this. It brought up many good points and it still kept my interest considering this is a controversial topic. There was a point where you used “then” and it should have been “than” because you were comparing not ordering things in a list.

You bring up alot of important issues in society today. You bring up a great point that there will always be war because there are different kinds of people and as long as we have different beliefs, conflict will be started. Freedom? I love how you stress that at what price is freedom worth the cost. Freedom will continue to take the lives of millions because it is something that we constantly fight for. And you talk about how it is all in gods will. God controls the way the world goes and you have to feel that no matter what happens, god made it happen so it must have been meant to be. You have wonderful ideas and a very good view on the way things occur in the world as we know it today. Very Good Job. It was a brilliant piece!
