If one thought can make a thousand tears, who needs experience to make more?

brilliant. deep as hell. in such few words. but like you said, just one thought… this is so true and relatable. and in just three lines you paint the saddest picture and make me sympathize for a stranger. favoriting…

Good work. The quote is very profound and enlightening to one’s character. However, presenting the quote in three separate lines hinders the flow of it since the reader will naturally take a brief pause as the eyes relocate to the next line. It is a much better read if it were continuous. Also, always proof reading your writing since there is a grammatical error in the first line. Thanks for sharing.

I like this quote. I think that it is deep and could be interpreted several different ways. I also like how you split the quote into different lines – it’s like a mini-poem.

Poignant, and clear. I like the idea and theme. It almost screams melancholy in 50 point type. The only change I could suggest would be “can make a thousand tears” instead of “makes a thousand”. This makes it clear that not all thoughts make a thousand tears. Unless you are trying to portray deep, unrelenting, depression.
Nice quote

This is really touching. It struck a chord with me. The spacing also adds to the tone. Good work!

I love how part two describes in such a visual way.

On the first reading this sounds brilliant; on the second reading I have to say there’s a problem at the core of this “thought”. I think you mean “thought without action”.

When you say “all I have” you mean that these thoughts have brought only pain. There is no reason a thought would bring pain unless it was fruitless.

The other problem is that thought and experience are two separate things.

yeah the ‘streaked’ works well with tears as it could relate back to the mental or physical aspect of experience, so it’s a good quote.

good line structure too; climaxes correctly.
