I’m not sure how to review a quote, but this is a response:
If the shepherd is drunk, he’s no doubt falling asleep at the staff. That means the sheep are wandering off or being attacked by coyotes. The shepherd has already received numerous written reprimands for his behavior. He can’t be terminated, however, because the Shepherd’s Union has stepped in, and now the boss has to foot the bill for the shepherd’s recovery program.
So the shepherd does his 28 days in rehab and comes out with a smile and a steady hand. He goes back to work but soon becomes bored. He’s heard all the psalms the lyre can play, he’s counted all of the stars and identified all of the animals cloud shapes can resemble.
One night, after his shift, his buddies decide to head out for a few goatskins, and he tags along. In the morning, he wakes up next to a ewe he doesn’t even remember meeting the night before, and the cycle begins anew.
And our insurance premiums skyrocket.

Strong drink can make a fool of any man. But how can the shepherd lead his sheep if he is not wise.
This was a hilarious piece. Short, sweet, and to the point.
Coming to bible near you.
I like the pure mockery of this piece, it could be misconstrued in so many ways and that in itself is a piece well done.
I would make the commar between wise and unless a full stop but that just my weird grammatical nonsense!
keep sharing!
If nothing else, you quote is truth, and it connects to all people.
I would put quotes around it.
Well, not sure how to review this other than tell you that I agree. It is hard to be drunk and wise. In that loss of control that is inebriation one often loses the ability to rationally think.
The sun is up, unless it is night, then it is not up.
Unless he is drunk from drinking Vitamin Water. How many people still shepherd? I bet anything that the ones who do are well educated, patient and steady.
Well done, clear and concise. Who is your shepherd?
I think that this quote is interesting. I like that the note that you left for reviews gave it context.
I don’t think that the last part is necessary. It would be more succinct, yet still clear, if it just read “The shepherd is wise, unless he is drunk.”
