I MAY ACCEPT YELLING
I MAY ACCEPT GRIEF
BUT WHEN IT COMES TO YOU WELLING
ABOUT THE UNNECESSARY
IT MAKES MY THOUGHTS INCOMPLETE
MY KNOWLEDGE IS SCARCE
I THOUGHT YOU KNEW
MY HEART IS FULL OF CARE
NOT EMOTIONAL AND BLUE
I REALIZE MY MISTAKES
I REALLY DID
BUT WHEN MY KNOWLEDGE IS AT STAKE
I’LL BEGIN TO LOOSE IT
MY AMERICAN JOURNEY IS TO BE SUCCESSFUL
NOT TO BE A BUM ON THE STREET
AND PLAYING TO BE A SLEAZY BASHFUL
HOW ELSE CAN I SAY IT A TRICK OR A TREAT
MY LIFE IS SACRED TO ME THATS ALL I KNOW
I DON’T TAKE IT FOR GRANTED NOR TAKE ADVANTAGE
I CAN’T MAKE A WISH UPON A DANDELION, THEN BLOW
I SPEND IT PRECIOUSLY WITH CAUTION
THIS IS IMPORTANT TO ME
MAYBE NOT FOR YOU
LIVE WITH COURAGE AND DIGNITY
NOT LIVE FOR MORE THAN 100 YEARS AND START NEW
THIS IS WHO I AM, AND YOU HAVE TO ACCEPT THAT
BECAUSE I DON’T NEED ANY IGNORANCE
LIFE SHOULDN’T BE AN OPINION, IT SHOULD BE A FACT
I CAN DEAL WITH MYSELF MY LIFE IS CONSIDERED A TOLERANCE

i think the fact that it doesnt have a form, and doesnt follow any sort of defined rhyming structure, actually lends to it being a good piece. it’s outspoken, and clearly displays the feelings of the writer. something like this is very pop-culture, the out of the ordinary random piece. If done right something like this can be a big thing.
