Poetry / Cocaine & Heroin Love (Analysis)
Cocaine days & Heroin nights,
Neon signs & mosh pit fights,
Strangers tangled in a web,
As midnight lust begins to ebb.
I bat my pretty little eyes
& you stroke my milky thighs,
I touch your lips & shoulder bare,
You caress me soft & brush my hair.
You know you leave me breathless.
When your hands become restless;
I ripped my fishnet stocking,
Your hard hot passion comes knocking,
Touch down form dizzy heights .
Cocaine days & Heroin nights.

I liked the rhythm and reality of this one.

I think that this poem is very clever. I can visualize the crazy night the character was having and how permiscuous the person was. I would work a little on the ryhme scheme a bit, but overall I liked it.

Very interesting… I’m definitely curious to see what could come of this. I believe you could have done a lot more with this piece…keep me posted if you do.

Wow! Very, very nice. It has a great flow, and it is very sensual. The feeling of sexual urgency is overwhelming, and I also get a sense of regret too. This is really a great piece and I would recommend it to anyone! The only thing I didn’t like was the &, but I am a snob that way. Great job!
