Poetry / Teens
Day in, day out
I face the fears
of being a teen.
Does he like me or not?
Why can’t I be hot?
Do I look fat?
Oh I can’t wear that!
It should not matter
If your fatter
Than the girl
in the magazine.
We are all human,
and should be treated the same
It should only count
on what can’t be seen.
