Quotes / Writers and Artists (Analysis)
I believe the only difference between writers and artists are in the way they make their fine works of art on paper.

I loved this quote because it is so true to life, very little differenc in the two just the median used on the paper.

I believe this is true. but i think that writers and artist at least have one thing in common. there passion to do what they love to do.
To be honest, I’ve never quite understood the concept of the quote category here on Urbis. In my mind, if one sets out to strain the mind towards philosophy why not write a poem, for example. But I digress—your quote is very simply stated and it certainly is easy to undertand. However, it lacks the lyricism and wit that most really penetrating quotes, the repeatable and time-tested, quotes seem to have. To me, what you’ve written is simply an observation, and an interesting one, not a quote.
I agree.
As a poet, I draw pictures with words and pencil, others use paint & brush.
The end result is basically the same.
Nice quote
I concur, but, what about the artist who don’t utilize paper? Musicians, sculptors, etc…
I always thought of writers as artists and that there were no differences between the two.
I mean, I like it. but thats not so much as to what I agree with it. Writers are artists. Just of a different medium. that been said, and put aside. I really do like this quote.
Well its true and I like the concept. It’s not really worded the way it could be to really make it “pop”. Perhaps you could recontruct it so it really stands out and makes your point a little more vividly. I do love the concept.
