Wow. Thank you.
Poetry / Ophelia # 3
Ophelia is turning in her grave-
Why did I drown for this?
The lingering begs.
Waits for a Resurection
but there just may be
no revolution
from here…
In the wake of
surrender or balance
and the lingering still begs-
and wonders-
is there a difference?

Maybe I’m tired (and I am), but I’m having difficulty getting this one. I’m wishing for more imagery, less description.
Comment if you wish, or perhaps once reviewed, I might get a better idea (I reading this one blind via the Urbis review queue)...
Thanks,
Michael

This is a great piece, the words have power and depth, with a great flow and imagery, I particually liked the last line, quite profound. Great job.
Interesting though I did not read the first two. I am left to assume that the person is dead and sees the reason she’s dead as being not worthy of dying for.
Other than that, perhaps check spelling of resurrection. Like the phrase “surrender or balance.”
Resurection…spelled resurrection
Very nice piece; I like the alliteration with resurrection and revolution and the phrase “in the wake of surrender”
Great diction.
Really, really amazing & oh-so-true. Thank you for posting this. I love Ophelia & I do, too believe she is turning in her grave.
Great job.
