When I look into your eyes,
Reality slips through my fingers like sand.
Everything that has happened is forgotten,
And thoughts about the future never cross my mind.

Sweet bliss is what I see.
Words can’t explain it.
It’s like a dream
That I never want to wake from.

And when I can’t hold my eyes open any more,
I close them and pictures of times we spent together
Run through my mind so fast I can’t concentrate on them.
Then I open them back up and I see you.
The one I love,
Looking up at me.
Wondering what it’s like,
To look into your eyes.
