I have been writing for my personal pleasure since fourth grade.  Mostly short-stories and poetry.  I did stop writing for about three years after “it” happened, and only recently took it up again.  I love writing. I wish I had never stopped.

A lot of my stuff is full of emotion, but very rough.  I don’t have much experience polishing it up into something other people would understand and enjoy reading.  I welcome all the constructive criticism you can provide.  Let it poor in.

This is a test for me. If I fail miserably for a long enough time, then I will pick up all my little scraps of paper and return to the hole i crawled out of.

my thoughts flutter up and out a swarm of paper butterflies swirling round and round up and up and up drunk by the dizzy ascent they begin to understand the innocence the madness of icarus and stop instead they circle your head tickle your toes brush back your hair and make love to you in bed afterwards you sit there hands upturned reserved and phlegmatic like nothing happened and my paper butterflies fall drip drop droop little dollops of shit all around your feet

Can you cut out all this bullshit? I screamed one day at the top of my lungs Shut it all off! All this white noise But nobody heard it In large black letters i scrawled it That's all i ever wanted Certain that no one cared That no one gave a fuck I threw my request at the nearest trash receptacle, but missed And what should happen next? You did. In all your separate strangeness Singular & Straight You found it at your feet My balled up message Crumbled and left for dead You picked me up Told ...

The flood of happiness, melancholy, excitement and terror Overwhelms my body and spills onto the world Tumbling and tripping over itself like hot lava It merges and forks down the slope of my cheeks And breaks like a wave upon my lips Or dives headlong like a kamakaze into nothingness Like a spent coal, though the flame is extinguished, the heat lingers and burns The paradox of being simultaneously oblivious and self-aware amuses and tickles me untill I burst into laughter Elated, I suddenly ...

My crutch is made of gold My eye is plastic My legs collapse and fold My hands elastic Diseased and mamed With superhero capes Knocked around but going on With the resiliency of cockroaches Beneath the sun we dance and burn Stumbling in clumsy

Poetry / Chocolate
Such a bitter sweet poem. I really like it. I love the contrasting imagery of pests vs. vanilla cake and chrystal and the irony of how much more you seem to miss the pests. :) I think it is a really great poem.
Poetry / untitled 3
Depressing. The wicked stained grins and necks in unfamiliar angles really make people seem grotesque, their lives uneventful (bland backgrounds), trying to be noticed. I think you said it all pretty well. So negative though! feelin' down in the dumps? :)
Quotes / Life
I agree, and don't ever forget it! :) I like this, cause people can take this a variety of different ways. You aren't trapped in life; life isn't that simple; you could even stretch it and say readers can take their own meaning from this quote just like you would from life. It's indeterminable to a degree. :>
Poetry / Elegant Exit
this is a pretty crazy poem--not exactly sure what it means, but I love it. :) the imagery is really fantastic. I love the eyes buttoned shut and the memories like leaves and the one thousand pounds of song. Really amazingly creative. It gets my mind excited. :P
I like this poem. the roll down itchy lawns is my favorite. time does go fly and you should always try to stay in touch with your playful inner child. :)
