Just a girl who’s in love with words and music…they have always been a part of my life. I have been writing for ages and at times it was all I wanted to do…
so now….I am just making the jump.
Sharing what I have, and hoping that some enjoy my words as I’ve enjoyed others.

Again it begins That tingle inside Pulling the strings Starting the ride Driving your pulse To an insane rate Racking your brain Screaming Sites blur to blackness Ears start to ring Lips crack with dryness Pushing so deep Scraping away hard Gasping to breathe Letting it go Screaming again and again and again it all begins again entwined melted Screaming

Tonite I saw all I want to see Terrible Ugly Scary things Went a bit too close to the edge this time But now I feel much better Words flew all about my head Though very few penetrated my skull Lights shown brighter than the sun My dry mouth couldn’t speak But now I feel much better One too many Right in a row Looking down at my dinner on the floor Snorting it down and holding it back Hurting So good and not wanting it to stop But now I feel much better

thoughts circle quickly through my head it’s hard to admit that dream has gone dead standing back from life for so long feeling happiness through a sad song restraining myself from living here knowing that really there is nothing to fear seeing your face in a world that’s not mine longing to cross the heart wrenching line denying the feelings that hungrily want you thinking it won’t happen, it can’t be true possibility is all that my heart will see wanting to be with you has set me free not s...

Grabbing the rope, pulling it tight. Looking for sanity, lost in endless night. Returning to places, locked up inside. Browsing memories, no chance to hide. Ghostly faces swim, writhe in my head. Pushing me back, disappearing in red. Watching it slip, loss of control. Pondering death again, anguish takes it’s toll. Where did it go, dropped out of sight. Vanished forever, searing black light.

This flows very well to me, easy to read and it gives good imagery. The first image I got was of two enemies who can't help being in love/lust...but in reading it again, I get other images as well. I enjoyed it.
This is interesting. I think you have achieved your goal of it being straightforward and visual. I am totally able to look through these eyes at the person being watched, and to feel the longing to approach them. You have done a good job of conveying the feelings throughout the piece. All those very easy to relate to feelings of wanting someone who seems to be unhappy with who they are with but stays and gives a happy face...and being jealous of that other person who is so undeserving of the ...
Good job. I love this, there is a devious tone there that just makes it for me. No advice to offer as I think it's perfect as is...I just wanted to say I really enjoyed it. best wishes.
There is a lot of emotion in this poem, and I really like how it reads. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but I enjoy the, slightly off, rhythm you have going and the feelings of anticipation and regret and longing all at the same time. good job and best wishes!

This is sweet and simple. Very visual and clear as to what and where the scene and feelings are. This bit "The first drop to hit us, a starter pistol, set us to sprint." does throw me off a little for some reason. In my head something like "a starter pistol, setting the race in motion." comes to mind as a better fit maybe. All in all though I think it's a nice piece, easy to read and understand and it written well, so it's one of those that takes the reader back to a similar memory of their o...
