Wallowing, clamorous skies abound I gloom in the detritus of ominous now cold bones break easily (almost welcome each snap) and pains are left unfelt if you’ve somehow lost your nerve I beg for the gift of a bear’s intuition who’s three seasoned eyes gaze only at growth To live in a world where only promise is known for luckily you slept through all the sad points and skipped the invasion of the realistic approach That failure exists: it’s breath can freeze all progress and encase hope in ine...

keeping in rhythms I fly fast to the beat of fuck and forget contemplating; escalating the moment ahead one step beyond the fragile existence of what was now quickly rushing bumping rubbing into objects of an elusive nature starting friction fires that melt my mysterious outlook and forcing every neuron and neutron that make up my make up to stand up and scream for a glass of water a pleasure pill a leave of absence from the abysmal rat race for idolatry and adulterous thoughts have merged in...

Sifting through these ashes finding only fragments of an answer found before the flesh of my thoughts march their way down the page like Greek philosophers: searching for the flames as though enchanted by Pandora while I am dragged behind like Ephemetheus: docile to her charms I’ve danced circles ‘round the fires at Delphi chased sphinx tails at the foot of the Throne of Zeus caught lightning in a bottle and watched it slowly sear my eyes: knowing it would, yet desiring it’s charge for all fo...

You are alien With your almond shaped eyes fluent in the unspoken language of bees that flies by so fast I can’t try to translate Your expressions oppose what you care to reveal Does your yes mean a no or your no mean a yes? I’m dumbfounded here I could always try to shake your hand but in your foreign culture it could be considered assault I cannot understand the architect’s view, hidden behind your separate technology If you point it out first I may find the foundation, but without assistan...

Poetry / Art
Nice piece. It holds true to the whole idea of art: for both the artist and those who appreciate it. I like the way you alluded to the "eye of the beholder" refference without actually spelling it out like a novice would. I loved the line: "vivid as noon day sun" to describe the emotion invoked by the mere memory of something special. Thank you for sharing.
Poetry / awkward silence
I love the first three lines of this piece, but after that it slips into universal material and your age clearly stands out. Try to capture the honesty and simplicity of the beginning and you may be on to something. Good luck.
This isn't exactly a poem. It feels more like a snippet of conversation at a group therapy meeting. You have discovered one of the horrible truths about society so instead of revoicing what is universally known I'd try and expand on this with ideas of your own, and put them in verse or post it in another category.
