This is hilarious. I especially love the line: "Second said every day the mantra of "birth. birth." for seventy-eight times three times a day." It's possible to make a child in three months, just difficult to actually have one out of the womb living and breathing. Four months is easy, your next experiment should go off without a hitch;).

It's looking good, I look forward to reading more of this. I like that there is action in this set. Not to mention a Lady whipping butt is always nice.

It seems like a pretty short chapter to me. I haven't read the first two chapters and don't know if this is the first time you introduce Wren or not. I do have some experience in these kinds of situations and if she is the type of person that will pinch this guy's butt in conversation after a few hours of knowing him...Well, she's is either one of those girls that is clingy and weird or incredibly playful. I could certainly see this being in a book. I seems like it would make for a good dialog, if the other guy ever gets to talk. That piece alone, well, I obviously it can't stand alone, but with an entire book (or at least a beginning and end). It seems to me that it has the elements to be good work.
