I have been writing since I was old enough to know how.  When I was younger, I wrote all kinds of short stories and usually illustrated them as well.  When I was in 8th grade, everyone in our class got to write and illustrate a children’s book to put in the school library.  Mine was entitled “The Parakeet with Laryngitis” and it was quite a work of art, if I do say so myself. I don’t know whatever became of it.  I’d like to think it’s still in the school library.  I write primarily crime fiction/mysteries, but would like to branch out into other genres.  Historical fiction is fascinating to me. I love to read it, but the research has always seemed so daunting that I never seriously considered writing any.  I had recently began doing research on Scottish history, particularly Highland history, so perhaps as my knowledge grows I can do something with that.  If I could only write it as well as Diana Gabaldon does…a goal to aspire to for sure.  My current works in progress are “The Sins of the Father”, of which I have a completed rough draft which I am in the process of editing.  I’m also working on “Retribution”, rough draft in progress, “Shattered Lives”, rough draft in progress, “For the Love of Alex”, rough draft in progress and “Recovery”, rough draft in progress.  
“Hunted” and “Crossing Paths” are on the back burner for now.  
My other interests include music (primarily anything Nuno Bettencourt is involved with), drawing and painting, reading, movies, football (Go Bears!) and my convertible. I also love concerts, hockey and my Scottish heritage.
