Just a youngin’ from the suburbs of Massachusetts. Writing is my passion and I hope I can pursue it for the length of my time here on this humble Earth.

Storming, the torrent of voices hammers me to the grinded pavement. Can I stay strong when the noise boils my thoughts into pools of half remembered memory, slipping faster than Pam lathered dish trays down the towering snow banks. Am I the only one, wrenched between perfect solitude and familial bonds? Everything in life is as close as the frayed cotton that clings to my thighs. Nirvana stretches across my vision with its luxurious lagoons and rolling hills; I am pulled down. Life is the ...

Beads of rain ooze down the glass, Sliding toward their earthen resting place. Past their glass-bound companions, Fierce droplets pierce the ground like daggers. As I stare out my window, my spirit is broken. With so many drops how can I ever single out one? Gone in the blink of an eye, as if the plunge to death Was their reason for being. The rain mirrors the world in most ways, There are those who are stuck somewhere, Yet they are still sliding slowly toward the ground. Then there are the a...

Reality escapes me as I stare out the window pane, vision blurred. Lacey spiderwebs of gray tango with heaven's diamonds, My mind slips away from me as thoughts of the unknown rush my head. In imagination's playground, I find myself floating. I speed through the cosmos, ethereal form wavering. Oblivion extends its icy tendrils, As I leap, my feet skirt the edge of finality. Wrenched back to reality. Corporeal restrictions destroy my spirit. My joy fades, again I wish to fly, Soar into the bat...

This is a very well crafted poem. You have a strong talent for imagery, and the words you choose to use are perfect. "to let words slip by like prayerbeads of the faithful" That is one of the stronger lines that tantalizes. "the dusky sweetness in the hollow of your mouth" The choose of the word dusky was the quintessential word for that situation, and I am glad that you extracted that from the depths. Hehe. Great job capturing that emotion you wished to portray, and I can't wait to see more!
I read this and I simply died laughing. "Garbage is a conversational lubricant. Fill the house with it." That is priceless. I had gone in to read this with the intent of reading some very science-oriented peace, and was pleasantly surprised. The only criticism I have is that the order of the list could be arranged a few different ways to have some of the stronger bits toward the end. It may, however, just be personal preference. An excellent read.
