Poetry / Truth
I did enjoy this. It holds a lot of the ideas that come to mind after the death of someone loved. Such as "Sorrow, only dims with time." And i liked the idea this created, "Voices travel through his ears/Begging for his return, for him not to leave" Everyone experiences that feeling. One thing i'd like the comment on is this line, "Broken Hearts cannot be mended. Love cannot be destroyed." If love never ends won't it aid in the healing of a broken heart? Sure the loss is always there and mayb...
Poetry / Stones
i actually like your last line here, and i am not sure if was intentionally a part of the poem itself or not, but i liked..."i lost the inspiration" and "this poem is unfinished" because of how you started the poem. it begins with the idea of something never ending and closes with the same idea. a stone in itself does stop being the moment it erodes into pebbles and dirt and such but the essence of it has continued...though it is no longer a stone. this poem has left me thinking. i like it. t...
Quotes / I Alone
i like this. i too think we control our own destinies...even if we cannot always control what happens to us, we can control how we react and grow from those events. thanks for posting. ~anji
oddly cruel though entirely true...not sure if this is meant to be humorous or a statement of the sad truth of our treatment of animals. coming from a animal right person this was sad and effective.
