Flash Fiction / Quarter for Your Thoughts
I like the idea of the story, and some of the writing is very good. However, I think the comment that seeing a fortune-teller is "cheaper than therapy" should be expanded on. Also, from my experience of fortune-tellers, a note containing one word passed across the table is not part of their modus operandi. Get real. How are people opposed to the seperation of church and state going to catch a respiratory disorder while judging a protein worthless? Disappointing: I thought initially on seeing all those long words that it might mean something.
Amusing and concise. Probably sums up a lot of writers!

The reason I have only given 5 points in both criteria is the brevity of the story. I would have to see a lot more before deciding if it would be part of a good book. Likewise, to critique it as a short story would be wrong: it is too brief to fit in this classification. However, I did like it: three very short chapters, summing upan artists life.
