The wording is a nicely humorous take to my mind on those dire improve your life type books that seem to be spewed out ten per second. This may actually be good advice in comparison, however I'm not sure how I feel on the take that to create is to indulge one's ego. But in honesty to sit exploring one's own mind is pretty heavy on egotistical pursuits!

It's true we are the creators of verbal worlds but not being a fan of anything religious other than for the occasional curiosity this doesn't appeal to me

I like it, the idea that your fate is irrepressible seems strong through this, it's like one of those really old proverbs (Japanese/ Chinese?)

The first two lines are really captivating but the third doesn't read as well as it could with them
