Hello, and welcome to my profile. My pen name is Evelyn Damon, and I am mainly a poet. Sometimes I stray from it and write a few short stories (or attempt a novel), but I do not very often. Outside of literature, I also draw alot of art, sing, play instruments, and act. None the less, my main passion has always been for writing.

I will post ALL of my work eventually, whether it is good or not. I understand that not everyone will like something, or that some things I write will be better than others. Please do not feel shy if leaving a review. I gladly accept and give out constructive critisism. I hope you enjoy.

Silent attacker, hear my plea For in return for impunity I promise my site. I'v no need to see When I can trust him to be my guide. Silent assasin, hear my call. Please do not make me lose my all. I promise my ears, I'v no need to hear When I know all he has to say. Merciless master, I do implore Please do not close my open door. I promise my touch. I'v no need to feel When I know he is by my side. Blood thirsty reaper, please do forgive, For I have given all I can give, Yet I'll promise my l...

"Honey, it's time. are you ready?" I placed my hands on his shoulders as he stared intensly into the mirror. He gave a sullen nod and stood slowly. "I love you," he whispered, barely audible. At his words my eyes began to tear. I could taste the salt on my tongue as a little drop rolled over my lips. He pulled me into his arms so tight I could hardly breath, but I didn't care. We sat there in silence for a moment. I could hear the opening band's intruments punding loud music into a screaming ...

Falling, I'm Falling Into the only thing I know. Darkness, Caress me. Absorb me completly. Everything, Everything happened so fast. Everything, everything happened in the past. *I couldn't stop, *I couldn't think, *I'm falling down now. *I couldn't move, *I couldn't breath. *Darkness claim me now. *Darkness claim me now. Angel, so far away, you held me tight to keep me safe. Now you'v tossed me aside. I watched you fly away. Everything, everything, you tossed me away. Everything, everything, ...

A sea of black and white Brings color to my mind. I strike upon the surface. The sound is soft and kind. I drown in a sea of sound As it wraps me in its arms. It washes over me completly. It betrays, and yet it charms. I forget the world around me As I'm lost in this sea of sound. Fingers as fast as lightning, And I can hear my heart-beat pound. As the final chords resound I find the silence to show in shame. Everything is normal. Now everything's the same..

Haiku/Senryu / Roses
Very nice. It's very descriptive, and very clear. There's not much I can say about it thats negative.
Poetry / Mommy
I was too wrapped up in this poem to notice anything wrong with it. It's really good and it touched me. The way the innocent eye- narration is used is very fitting. god job.
Haiku/Senryu / Fuzzy bear
It's a very cute description. It made me smile for the first time today. It's probably been pointed out quite a few times, but you might want to start each line with a Cappital letter. It doesnt detract from it either way. Good job.
Poetry / do ya kin?
"Kills as he travels, His mind does unravel, Like the servants, To the tower of Babel." "like the servants" in this stanza doesnt seem to fit with the flow of the poem. Now that that's out of the way, let me just say that I loved it. The way it's written mostly just flows off the tongue. You really expressed what was happening to give the feel of being inside of the brother's head. Good work. -Eve
Haiku/Senryu / Home Again
I like it. It's hard to find good haikus worth reading on here these days. I'm glad I found this one. It makes me think of stepping back into a memory. keep up the good work. -Eve
