I am a 43 years old, mother of two boys ages 18 and 22. I recently became a grandmother and I have been writing poetry for about twelve years now. My poetry may not be accepted here because I write romantic poems but also I write about things that women are facing today, drug abuse, domestic violence,HIV, raising your self esteem and accepting the body you live in and loving yourself. The reason why I write about these things but I am a work in progress and I do not want other women to feel the way I do because I know that something is better out there but we all have to search within ourselves to find happiness and then we share our happiness with someone else.

We have never been together but I miss you so much. When you give me eye contact it’s as if it was a finger touch. The thought of seeing you, my imagination it excites. If you are in the same space as I, my heart jumps with delight. I pray to the True God, “Please let him feel the same.” “Not let those feelings be hopeless something that is inane. The best way to describe this is that I have fallen in love with you. It would make my life complete if you felt the same way too.

You love writing and very committed I admire that. You are very stingy with your money to the point that you will not pay heat to sit comfortably writing, yet you are committed to what you do. I like that
This makes me think of Anna Nicole only because she has been called a goddess. I am interperting that this is about the paparazzi. It also makes me think of the thin models that are skin on bone. If I am right this is about the fashion world and the models involved.
