This is Independence Day. I have always loved this day and all that it represents. I remember as a child attending a private school we all stood out under the flag each morning to say the Pledge of Allegiance with our hands on our hearts. The American flag was treated in a very specific manner. It was understood that at no time would the flag touch the ground. When the flag was lowered that too was done in a sort of ceremonial manner. This is a piece that captures one's attention in the first line and easily keeps one's attention to the very last line. I truly loved this work. Your choice of words made this very creative which gives a good visual to the reader. A lot was said and it was said quite well. Keep up the good work! Peace Wild Heart
I found this piece both informative, and interesting. The fact that the writer is not campaigning pro or con marijuana prohibition, makes this that much more of a fact based document, which lends to the readers interest. The area of uncertainty lies in; "Secretary of the Treasury, Andrew Mellon, felt his nephew-in-law, Harry J. Anslinger, was the perfect candidate for the job of FBN commissioner". "Nephew-in-law" I feel is possibly Andrew Mellon's wife's nephew, thus making Mr. Anslinger simp...
I do agree that this is a tremendously difficult choice to make,I find it shocking that the question be posed at such an early stage in life. The average university student will change their major THREE times. With that being said, it is absolutely unethical to push a CHILD into making a life impacting decision. The parents, although we would prefer that they were involved, the percentage of those doing so is not a high one. Many of our youth have parents who are not educated individuals the...
Captures the attention of the reader immediately. Keeps the attention of the reader to the very last word. This is an important world topic, and the writer has afforded the ease of understanding to many levels of reading and comprehension ability. This is vital when reaching out to such a broad audience. The higher level reader will maintain an interest, and the entire audience is engaged. Not an easy task, however this writer has accomplished the goal. Quite impressive work, giving the reade...
Moving, deep, and strong, a fascinating piece flowing with emotion, and maintaining the readers attention from the first word to the very last. This is an extraordinary piece, most certainly worthy of publication. I didn't see anything that should be touched. This piece is brilliant just the way it is. I gave this work very high marks. I will be looking forward to reading more work by this author.
