Hi from the state of Texas. I am a business owner and mom. I write when the muse strikes and it like lightning, varies in style and mood. I’ve been writing since I was 9. I coach little league baseball, softball and am team mom for peewee football. I tend to write mostly about things that I overhear in conversations around me that strike me as funny, odd, sad or beautiful. Sometimes it might be the tiniest thing I notice, such as an ant on a blade of grass. Styles may vary as I’m not prone to any particular aspect. I hope you will take time to read and enjoy. My home page is www.angelfire.com/tx2/Chellespoetry/index.html. Thanks and may blessings always be upon you.

'Midnight Train' Your voice so deep, intriguing ~ harbinger of masculine delights; stirring intensely within me forceful forgotten passions. Your dulcet words like dark molasses poured out on a blistering summer day. Flowing slowly down my senses, sticky, sweet warmth drawing, tempting my lips to taste deeply of their nectar, swallow their intoxicatiing spirits, until . . . I'm drunk on your love words. Tempt me, draw me, My Love, down crimson pleasure's path. * The touch of your hands so fir...

"Best Friend" Sometimes I stare at the blank page and I wonder, why am I doing this? Why do I pour my thoughts, my heart out onto dry expanse like melted butter over the bland whiteness of a biscuit? Why do I assume the colorful characters of sirens, philosophers and even rednecks? Because they are all a part of who I am. Eac one clamoring to be heard, known. There is no one I can introduce all of them to, who would accept, appreciate the diversity so I free them to romp in wild abandonment or...

"Like Time Out Of Mind" You ask what beauty is? I will tell you. It is the clean kill ~ the predator's teeth stained red with blood, no pain in the prey's brain. Death swift and easy, life-enabling purpose guided by a carefully honed skill, like the hand of Pollock or O'Keefe guiding paint across a canvas in their disparate ways, explaining the modern mind to us sans an excess of anything. Reality bared down to just expansive bones colliding with the truth we cannot name any other way; like t...

"Poets Are The Princes" Poets are the princes, the seers, the sages, Ichor of the Gods, flowing across their pages. Poets are the roses in a world of thorns, collected through dark nights, the dew drops of their morns. Poets are a true treasure, gifted to all mankind, to touch the core of emotions and stimulate the mind. Poets are the angels, guardians of creation worshipping nature's beauty without pretense or cessation. Poets are the lovers in a world gone mad with hate; hearts upon their s...

This is a very touching, sincere and truly awesome piece of work within it's six small words that speak volumes, as it hits to the heart of something that most all of us have experienced, sadly too often on more than one occasion. A very eloquent statement carrying much weight of truth, heart, soul and love laced with longing and a burning desire to finish what has been left unfulfilled. A truly remarkable read that serves the poet as well as the reader in all the indelible courses of heart a...
This leaves it to feel as something is missing. Perhaps something such as A writer's life forever being penned, or such ...I think your idea here has lots of potential if you just rethink the order and choice of a few words. That's my 2 cents for what it's worth, haha. Good luck!
Actually 5 words, but words speak so well to and for the writers, the poets of heart and soul. nice.
Much honesty and power within your 6 words. These few words hold many truths and much anguish for writers and poets.
