I see the sun and the grass I smile at it I see the rain and the snow I run to dance beneath until the day the first stone falls. I hardly notice at first, a slight stumble, then all as before until the next stone builds higher and the sun becomes a shadow the grass no longer green my dance no longer joyous and everything has changed. I wish my wall away but everyday it only grows.

I hardly knew you. You always said you loved me, but I don't think you really knew me either. Do you remember the first night we met? You were hanging out with us, before break. Because in those moments, When my rational mind is gone, And all I can do is enjoy the touch, Wish for more, Feel him near me, Wish it meant something with all my heart. In those moments...everything is perfect, And nothing is all right. I pull back and the weakness fades. I am strong. I will resist. I don't want this. Until I...

I sat in confused silence, staring at my desk. All around me were people missing, people who should have been there, who would have been there on any normal Monday. They should have been filling the room with their chatter about upcoming parties and shopping trips. They should have been there, laughing at the thought of death and reveling in their immortality. But they weren’t. And the few who remained said nothing. We sat in silence, desks separated, with not a word to say between us. We cou...

To love is to court a rocky road, A path which can be both gentle and harsh. At first it winds peacefully, All smooth, polished stone which caresses the bare foot that touches it. It is, of course, a trap, To lure the unwary traveler to trust, To bare all, To make themselves vulnerable. For after all, the sharpest stones lay around the most peaceful corners, Waiting for the unwary, The fools in love who have let their guard slip away. Love, the most cleverly crafted lie, Which lures its prey ...
