Children's / The Frog Prince
As an adult I loved this - the twist at the end was unexpected and a nice surprise. I don't know if a child would really appreciate it. Possibly too sophisticated. But I enjoyed it - interesting take on the Frog Prince.
What a charming picture you created. Parts of this are exceptionary, particularly the descriptions of Mr Redd I want the story fleshed out. How does this relationship affect the boy? How does it affect Mr Redd? Great beginning - take it further.
Children's / Monster Under The Bed
Very cute. Nice length, nice end. A little trouble with the rhythm when read aloud, and it flips from present to past tense. A little tweaking and it will be great!

You deserved a good grade - this is charming! Clever rhymes, nice plot - great job!
I love the heated winds lines - haunting. For some reason, the words like & as don't work for me at the beginning of their respective lines for me. Makes the sonnet feel somewhat forced.
Nice rhythm, beautiful imagery. "as we explore" is a little clumsy, harsher as compared to the other lines.
Parts of this gives me goosebumps & parts make me scream. I love the emotion shown. I hate the rhythm. I love the marilyn monroe/james dean line. I'd prefer the mothers eyes/fathers pace be later in the piece. Some tense problems. Do you love the child now or will it only be in the future? (The love I’ll have for you will never die.) Keep working on this - it deserves to be perfect.
I love this. Deceptively simple, witty, charming. Great poem!
The sentiment is there, now work on the rhythm & flow. My favorite line is: I want the sun to come out now I’ve been living in the dark for too long. Great title, now live up to it.
I love the dual meaning. I can see a swan on the lake ignoring you, and I can see a man looking over you in a crowd. Nice, very nice.
