Nice start. I would have liked to know exactly what an Adept is supposed to be / do though.

Wonderfull. I could really feel the charater's pain. The description of the palace was well exicuted throughout.

Excellent! Loved the chariter creations and discriptions of heaven as a place, not a concept. I thought that the story flowed well with strong dialog and built a good foundation for what is to come.

This has potential. As your own back story for another wook it does not need to be polished.
