I am an Author with one book being published and three others in the works.  I have written articles and short stories that have seen the light of day in local rags, I was too busy playing architect to pursue a writing career…Now I have time to do it.
I see life through a funny and sarcastic spyglass and I am always sorry to see that most around me tend to go out of their way to find libidinous interpretations to the otherwise obvious.  They masturbate their brains into oblivion, rather than look and listen at what life at face value really is.
I live in Sarasota FL with my wife and a rambunctious Pug named Sophie.

Mrs. Young was Dr. Harrison's assistant and receptionist, who had been with him for years. She was almost as old as Stonehenge and not as well preserved. She was half deaf and wore glasses with lenses the size of a telescope. She did not like children and particularly did not like Pogsy, Mikey, Tommy, Monty and me. She had seen too many of our catastrophes come to pass and disrupt her well-established office routine to have ever developed any kind of affection for us. Mrs. Young woke up one ...

Quotes / Circles
This is a short quote that is true but somewhat banal. I think you can take this thought and rework it in a more "literary" way. Just a thought,
Thank heaven so creativity has been left over for the ones who are not totally loopy. Great sentence, I do not know if I would call it a memoir but the observation is accurate and historically documented. Good work. PIM
Short Story / Real Enough to Love
You drive the reader from reality to pure dream-like fantasy and back to reality with the strokes of your character-writer's pen. You certainly keep the attention of the reader who will certainly want to know where you are going with that. I am not sure about some of the sentences you use "Greed soaked inside her leaving her wanting more" for instance and a few others. I would try to review them and make sure that the message comes across to the reader. You are right when you say that your sp...
Quotes / Six-Word Memoir!
You throw it all out and make the reader wonder. A memoir that disturbs and intrigues. It certainly has shock value. I'll buy that one and I'll see what turns up at the end. PIM
