i found this poet's use of descriptive words excellent but not the best. however the poem did put me right there at that particular chess tournament, where the writer puts me in a state of anticipation. the rhyme scheme was also well done. good rhythm!

It needs to be more definitive. The rhythm of the poem could also be tighter. It stumbles a bit especially in the beginning. However, i love its descriptive tone.
