What about me?
Who am I REALLY?
A bunch of carbon and water?
Nerves, muscles, flesh and bones?
A sum of my parts?
Or am I something more?
Something etherial?
Something driven by the need to create?
Something fascinated by the world?
Something innocent?
Something worldly?
Something searching for answers?
I believe that I am all of the above and much, much more. There is so many parts to the essential me that I am still discovering them…and am enjoying the journey!

Bending to kiss you, My lips touching yours, Feather soft kisses, Petal soft flesh, Touching, Tugging, With tongues reaching, Playing, Probing. As each kiss deepens, Lengthens, Becoming more urget, Insistant, Demanding, And taking, Wonderous pleasure.

First off I need to say that I don't know all the answers! I don't think that anyone does. What I can do is talk from my experiences on this planet. The number one thing that I can think of (looking back into my past) is having a strong female role model. My mother is a very strong woman and as such she taught me not to put up with crap and when the world was closing in on me she would envelope me in her arms...keeping me safe and letting me know that I am loved. Secondly is a male role model...

Passionate kisses, Caressing hair, Tasting, Teasing, Enjoying the pleasure Soft touches, Nipple traces, Supple skin, Longing, Sensing the heat. With delicate tongue, Hands all over, Sweat starting, Breathe quickening, Embracing hard. Into the void, Slithering, Flicking, Toying, Raw with awe. Touching the spot, Body arches, Breath escapes, Unintelligible words, Taken to the peak. In arms full, Around, Surround, Smiling, Then joyous sleep.

I am so tired, So weary, So blue, Full of emotions, Full of sadness, But I am done crying over you. I look at you, You look through me, I reach out, I hold out my hand, You back away. I am so tired, So weary, So blue, Full of emotions, Full of sadness, But I am done crying over you. You say you love me, You swear that you do, You then yell, You hurl words at me, It's like you hit without your hands. I am so tired, So weary, So blue, Full of emotions, Full of sadness, But I am done crying over...

Man in a bottle, Enslaved by the world, Fear lurching, Heralding voices, Stranded tear drops, Laughter, Sadness, In this life, This amiable play. Reach out to what? To whom, to see? For in the light there is strength, In the darkness there is despair, Heros searching, Underground, Everywhere. The ice cubes tinker, His mind and spirit drained, Reveling in denial, Hiding from disgrace. Life is an intrusion, Apart from the numbness, Sensations hurt, Reality brings fear, Truth is evil. His person...

This poem is wonderful...even though the subject matter is somewhat dark. The tone is soft...allowing the reader to feel comfortable with the transition from life to death. Great work...keep it up!
You have hit a nerve in me. This quote could have fallen from my own lips! Awesome word choices...keep writing!
This is a very funny quote. I used to work with the elderly and believe me...you speak the truth!
Very short and to the point. There is a lot of weight attached to each of the words and such it takes more time to read it. On can tell that the character in this poem is afraid of flying and the delay is just adding to this. A good poem that hits the mark. Keep writing like this and you'll do very well.
This poem speaks to me as I am also a writer. I like your word choices and the way you used free verse. I could enter into your world for a minute and feel the creativity that often burns in theose that are creative. Thank-you for this piece. I enjoyed reading your work and I look forward to reading more.
