Carolanne, 42, have been writing what can only be described as contemporary freestyle prose.  Have had an entire collection stolen, and am beginning again.  Have not been published in a very long time.  Working on 4 seperate anthologies.  My first book will be published in early 2008, an erotica collection.  Followed by my anthologies, and 2 novels that I am beginning research for now.   So, I will still submit poetry, short stories & novel excerpts.   I look forward to some criticism that will help me improve my work.  And of course, write reviews…

UPDATE: APRIL 2007
I am working 5 manuscripts right now.  ”Soul Melodies”, my collection of poetry…”Eros Comes In Black Satin”, a collection of Erotic stories (finished 03/07), and ””S…

I remember it like it was yesterday. I sat in the backseat of daddy's ugly green ford, on the hot plastic seat, trying not to cry. We were going to visit my aunt Hazel, who lived in a big old farmhouse that really looked more like a haunted house to me. My foster mother usually "changed" into a vicious likeness of her usually sour self, but right now she was being "nice", probably because daddy was there with us today. Not that this would change anything of course, but I knew the monster was...

You couldn't understand the hours No sleep...unable to hold a conversation for weeks I go through changes...with my pen in motion, the only one I lovingly am at one with You bring me dinner with a kiss on the forehead and I never notice as you leave the room murmuring that you love me, closing the door for I am lost in a world of words that defy verbage You don't understand why I cannot sleep the words you would have me speak, silent thoughts that will only come forth with one push...from my...

If you dwell inside my head long enough you will catch a glimpse of the things I see the way I see them, the way I see me. Even you. but would your vision of the world change? If you were to dwell inside my mind for an instant you would find there are myraids of thought not yet rendered by my pen, silent in their flow but still bitter, sweet or lethal, depending on delivery If you were to dwell inside of my heart for a moment I wouldn't want you to weep for me, cry for those destructors whic...

you are that mysterious 'forever phantom lover' . self-programmed into my young foolish believing mind. Eyes that glance into my secret places, with knowing... too late you enter, but not really late enough. There is still time for me to pick a fork in the road for that is where I now stand. ... To flow where this might lead. To just trust. close my eyes. let go. freefall. oh damn. Fear is a bitch, when only one side of the coin shines in my eyes.

I feel this one deeply. It is very well written, and great visualization.
This is a very difficult article/story for me to review being an adult survivor, it still burns years later at just a mention. But i think that overall it is very good. I am going to assume that this is just a preface to the story/article and that you will be going into more detail later. I will keep an eye out.

I liked this. You are definately being you....don't change! Your line "This is all I ask to see" might however, be more effective if you just take "to see" out. Just my humble and honest opinion. Good work though!
