My first novel, The Founding Five, is the story of five neocons who conspire to seize control of America by hijacking the Repubican Party and using it for their own purposes. Provides a glimpse of what the country may be like in twenty-five years if the ideology of the far right prevails.
Recently completed a novella, Confessions of a Liberal Lover, and am looking for an agent to represent me.
In the midst of my next project, a mystery set in Detroit, my home town.

Chapter Two – The Gargoyle Speaks The gargoyle had been my best friend since I was six years old and it never occurred to me to leave him behind. The prizes were displayed on wooden shelves behind her ...

Once upon a time, I had a lot of trouble holding on to my lovers. Of course, I’m not talking about holding on in a literal sense—they weren’t slippery and there’s nothing wrong with my hands—I’m talking about holding on in the emotional sense. I do get it, but you need to work on form. The syllable count for a limerick should be 99669. Of course you may not care if you are following the standard form for limericks and that's okay too. Just have fun with it.
First two lines are fine, but might adjust third line from "on nothing again" to about nothing again to pick up another syllable. This has potential to be a pretty good limerick, but still needs a bit more work.
