My name is Maria! I have been writing poetry it seems all my life. I am working on a collection of Native American poetry. I enjoy reading poetry, as much as writing it. I am the proud wife of a United States soldier. We have five wonderful children, and eight beautiful grand children. My family is my passion, my inspiration. I am very new to this site, so I’m still learning my way around! I think I’m very down to earth, I’m Native American, and most of my writing is a reflection of my culture. I think life is fragile, and moments count! I think one should live real, and love hard. And I really do believe weeds are flowers with no names.

Your message is very clear. The piece gives the reader very good visual, and insight into your passion. I did find it hard to see this as a song. I thought the read was good. Your word play worked very well. I would say this has the makings of a good song, it's just to hard without music, or even an idea of the type of music you are creating. You expression is just wonderful.
This piece was just outstanding! Your word play was excellent. Very nice flow, and tone. The read was captivating, and interesting. I really enjoyed this poem. You have a real talent my friend. This was that piece that comes along and just grabs you. I loved it.

I really did like this piece! I could feel your emotion, your sadness, your passion. I think I was so moved because it felt real, not forced, or made up. I think this piece had heart. This piece was an easy read, but very heartfelt. I think poetry is best created from ones heart. I liked the style, the flow was nice, and you left the reader knowing your feelings without over doing the piece. Very nice!
