Let it roll off your shoulders This isn’t the end Over stressed and over burdened Life’s no fun when you’re poor Get off your ass You got the world by the balls Stand up and do something Make something of yourself It’s no longer fun and games You’re not a kid anymore It’s not a game of marbles Or a game of tic-tac-toe Reality’s a bitch Life’s a bitch Bite back the fear Grow some balls What are you going to do When there’s no more bridges to burn? You’re on your last leg Hobble to success Chan...

Drop the bloody knife Drop it in my hand You’ve had your turn Now it’s mine Cut the flesh Wound the psyche Grit your teeth Don’t tell a soul It’s bitter sweet A crimson tragedy Spilling our lives On the blade of a knife A carnal sin We’re going to Hell

So much to lose So much at stake This fear It fills me with dread I want this so bad I need this so bad Consuming my thoughts Consuming my essence Death defying Bitter sweet Tragic love For you I would move mountains For you I would give the stars For you I give my heart Unfounded faith Placed in incapable hands Ethereal screams Ushered from silent lips This could be Heaven Or this could be Hell Lead this poor lamb Oh loving Shepard For you I would move mountains For you I would give the star...

Deep with in the confines of her tattered cloak Valinor Malkeir stalked down the dank streets of Farnor, her jade green eyes burning with suppressed rage. Three days, it had been three days since she had been ostracized from the family for claims against the crown, of which there was no proof against. Setting her jaw and straightening her back Valinor pushed the thoughts to the back of her mind knowing full well that vengeance would come just not yet. Brushing by a filthy man that looked as ...

“Come here Ayden,” came the shout from downstairs. Ayden Harris turned dropped his action figures on the ground and ran out of his room, “coming daddy!” His little legs carried him awkwardly, arms outstretched for balance. Ayden was turning four years old on October 12th. That was next week, Roger Harris mused and smiled as best he could manage as he watched his son slowly descend the stairs. It was sad to think that this happy little boy’s carefree life was about to be turned upside down. N...

Criticism / War on Terror/Drugs
The war on terrorism is an ever, time, money and life consuming tragedy that the President of the United States uses to keep himself in an unchecked state of power. The war on terrorism is Bush's way of running a dictatorship. Those who all live in fear see his war as safety when it does nothing but more harm than it ever will good.
Poetry / Wicked Deeds
I love it. The tales of why children do these things, of how and why these things happen. Children pushed to far are dangerous beyond imagination. The poem reminds me of my child hood, the abuse and trauma I went through growing up.
Poetry / I think too much
Torn between truth and lies. Where to draw the line? We all face this issue. "They won't like me if I do this" kind of thinking. Honesty is key, no matter the situation, yet I find myself in the same prediciment as the poem outlines myself, for we are only human.

Poetry / Waiting
This poem I think relates to a great many things. For me I can relate to the waiting. Waiting for something, yet doing nothing about it. Kind of a hopeless feeling, where the world spins out of control and slips through a persons finger tips just as they think they found what they were looking for.
