I’ve ambled through my years with nonchalance and indifference and need to take myself by the scruff of the neck and throw myself to the feet of life, and one day I’ll reach the head.
I’m on my gap year, and days of laziness, nothingness, introspection and thought have lead me into a cultural awakening that I’ve attributed to my own personal Age of Enlightenment, and have become inspired to take up poetry and art. I might put something on here one day, depends if I’m good enough… I really like the art of the Pre-Raphaelites and Medieval/Renaissance Italian artists, and also the poetry of people like Byron and Keats, and strive to work in their vein. Or struggle.
