I’ve been writing poetry for almost twenty years. I don’t know if my ability has changed or improved much in that time but, other than a few dry spells, I’ve continued to write when the mood hits me till the present day.
While I sometimes wish my writing ability extended into prose more, at least short story writing, I have not had the patience or belief in myself to do any such writing yet. Maybe someday I will get past such blocks and start writing a novel…
Or maybe I should write down some of my fantasies, since I have a rich fantasy life. What is the opinion of fanfic fantasies on this site?
For now, all I have is poetry to offer…

Time has a beginning But it never ends We are the future That the past now sends Timeless beings, we stand At the corner of your eyes Watch us fall And watch us rise We fall and rise Like the tide Always beginning But we never tried Like the tide, Did we say? Not again, No, not today Ours is an old story, You see We were one Now we are three Think now and again Of the beginning of time Where dragons roamed In thoughtless rhyme We were here When the Earth began And yes, I assure you-- We will ...

One day I was born on this planet. One day I was left all alone In a world of violence and darkness Far away from home. Now this world is slowly dying And the love is almost gone. In this world there's no use for crying When you're far away from home. My home's a million miles Towards a distant star. Far away I wait and wonder Why I went so far. In this world we're slowly dying And we're blinded by the light. Been too long in the darkness. Fighting hard to kill the fright. Fighting hard to st...

Time slips through its boundaries. Minutes swim through hours As real-imaginary books Create and un-create themselves On invisible shelves. I sit on my bed contemplating The implications of existence. The world around me Blinks in and out playfully, Creating and un-creating itself Before the blind eyes of my mind. I sit on my bed Concentrating too hard On how to use All the 'magical' techniques I have so diligently learned, Not realizing That the world around me Does all these magical things ...

your soul speaks to me in whispers soft, still waters that lap at my shore teasing me with sweet, fragrant tones that echo in my mind and soul soft, round flavors fill me from your whispers leaving me wanting for more

What a magical poem. I'm not really a critic or any kind of poetry expert, although I do write poetry too sometimes, but I did like this poem and the picture it painted. I felt at one and eternal with the wind... Thanks for posting this for us to read...
It sounds interesting. Definitely would could be a fun scifi story. Wasn't sure what ONV meant. Actually the story line sounded like several possible stories, especially near the end of the time line.
