ok I wrote this once, but forgot to hit save. DUH!

Hi There! My name is Tina, and I live in Canada with my husband and daughter. I’ve had a long love affair with the written word, and I work very hard at it. I write about subjects I take from my own life, therefore I can write with some familiarity to my subject. My characters are real, I put a lot into them, in order for them to become real to my reader as well.

I’m always open to constructive criticism, because I recognize that we all have places for improvement. I am really looking forward to getting into the URBIS site and moving along with my writing.

Chapter Three Lisa spent the next morning at work doing nothing. She couldn't get interested in her favourite game, so she sat in her chair staring into space. She thought of good times she'd shared with Josh: their vacations, nights at home watching movies. They'd had many good times together, and now it seemed those days were gone. At lunch, Dave popped in and asked if she would join him. Thinking of food turned her empty stomach, so she politely turned him down. He looked at her with conce...

Chapter One "Have I ever told you how much you mean to me?" Lisa asked Josh. She snuggled closer to him, sharing a cushion on their blue overstuffed sofa. "I think the sun rises and sets on you." Her boyfriend smiled. The movie she'd rented for a nice quiet evening at home glowed from the television screen, highlighting a look of amusement on his face. For a change, no phones rang, and his garage out back sat eerily deserted, his usual flow of cars and friends absent. Lisa had him to herself ...

Chapter 2 Lisa woke before her alarm the next morning. Looking at her clock, she heaved a sigh. Not enough time to go back to sleep, yet too early to get up. Shaking her head to clear it, she wondered where Josh was. Head cleared, their previous night crashed into reality. Her wrenching dream, their disastrous fight. With memory came anger and resentment. What gave him the right to treat her that way? Not ready to face Josh, she picked up her discarded novel. Several minutes passed before Lis...

All my reviews are simply suggestion, so please don't think I am trying to tell you what to do, lol. I tend to do a detailed line edit, giving examples of what I am trying to convey. If this helps you, great! If you don't like or agree to my suggestions, that's great too. It's your writing, so it's up to you. *a girl named Reynalis, she is cute, but is she the girl Im looking for?* Needs a break here for the continuing thought: *a girl named Reynalis. What if you were to find a synonym for simple and small and combine them into one word? *It was simply, blankly, yet som...
All of my reviews are done in line-edit-style with examples and suggestions. Everything I tell you that you should change is nothing but suggestion, personal opinion, etc. If I help you then great. If you don't like my advice that's great too. This is YOUR work, and you need to be happy with it. I loved your opening line. I wasn't going to read this one, as it didn't sound like the kind of thing I'd like, but you hooked me with your opening. Nice job! *that day she thought it imperative soon ...
